Pleats are formed by the simple folding of fabric reducing then the volume. They are an ornament on the sleeves, shirt and of course on skirts and dresses. There are so many different kind of pleats that it is difficult to identify all.

What you need: For the two first video sewing classes, you need two rectangles of fabric 15cm/20cm.

For the two last, you need a shirt sleeve slitted.

Tips and things to know: For a decorative appearance, just sew the wrong side of the garment on the right side of the capuchin and the reverse if you want to sew a capucin leg for the sleeve shirt.
