The type of button depends primarily on the fabric type and thickness. Buttonhole can be vertical or horizontal depending on the model.


Through this sewing training module 3, 
these sewing video classes will give you all the information to achieve perfectly your work

We suggest starting with:

     * Sew a topstiched seam
     * Sew a button by hand
     * Sew a button on the machine
     * Sew a buttonhole on the machine
 

What you need: For each video sewing, you need a button and a rectangle of fabric of 15cm/20cm.

Tips and things to know: As with a button sewn by hand, if a rod is required, place a needle on the button and sew.

Never start sewing a buttonhole without measuring the diameter of the button. Then add 3 to 6 mm depending on thickness. You have the size of the buttonhole.
